The Europubhealth+ programme is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree that has been recognized as a Master of excellence by the European Commission since 2006. In 2016, the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EACEA) has renewed its financial support to  the programme for five more years.

ERASMUS+: Erasmus Mundus excellence scholarships

The Europubhealth+ consortium awards Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus scholarships to the best candidates who apply before the indicated deadline each year.

When creating an online profile, applicants must choose the relevant category based on the following rules:

All countries in the world are divided in two categories:

  • Programme countries are the 28 European Union member states + Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey.
  • Partner countries are all the countries in the world that are not listed above.
  • Students fall under the Programme country category when:
    • they are citizens of one of the Programme countries
    • OR
    • they are citizens of a Partner country but they have been residents or have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of the Programme Countries. The five year reference period is calculated backwards as from January 2019 (this 12-month residency rule does not apply to candidates who for various reasons and under various circumstances have sought refuge and received a refugee status in a Programme Country).
  • Students fall under the Partner country category when they are not a Programme Country student as defined by the above mentioned rules.
  • Students with a double nationality (of both a Partner and a Programme Country) must specify the nationality under which they submit their application.

ERASMUS+ mobility grant for Year 2

Europubhealth+ self-funded students who do not already benefit from an Erasmus Mundus excellence scholarship may be entitled to receive an Erasmus+ mobility grant during their second year specialisation in the programme. The Erasmus+ grant is not means tested and is available to students of all nationalities. The Erasmus+ grant (around 200-300€ per month depending on the destination country) is only intended to assist students with additional costs incurred during the second year of study. It is not enough to cover all expenses and should not be relied on for essential living costs such as food and rent.
