Place : EHESP School of Public Health - Rennes, France

Teaching language: English

At the end of each year, a 3 ECTS integration module focusing on the development of cross-cutting competencies brings together Year1 and Year2 students for three weeks in Rennes.

They combine cross cutting skills and emerging topics, including project management, professional skills, transnational teamwork and intercultural competences. The integration module combines problem based learning (PBL) alongside the development of operational and analytical skills necessary for answering a hypothetical tender to tackle global health challenges. The modules aim to:

  • foster the development of culturally sensitive practice

  • develop critical thinking, team-work, project management, communication skills, advocacy and leadership skills.

Students from Year1 & Year2 are asked to work in small student led teams and design and defend an innovative and sustainable public health intervention to address a global health challenge. Groups are tutored by international scholars (invited faculty) and faculty members from EHESP.
