High quality teaching staff
About 70 teachers from the six consortium partners provide tuition for the European Masters Course and oversee the students. 70% of them have a doctorate and are qualified to carry out research.
The teaching staff includes university lecturers as well as professionals who are active in the public health sector (doctors, nurses, managers of care establishments, health engineers, health inspectors, pharmacists, administrators, manufacturers, etc.).
All the universities offering the EUROPUBHEALTH Masters undertake research, either in laboratories that are part of the university or through associated organisations or programmes.
In parallel with the research activities, a solid basis of expertise has been developed by the main Masters teachers, who are members of committees of national or international experts. These expertise activities involve developing networks of correspondents with a high scientific level and also contribute to a better adaptation to field realities.
Most of the teachers involved in the EUROPUBHEALTH Masters are permanent university staff. They have an office within the university and are, therefore, in a position to welcome, counsel and advise students. Some of them will play a more important monitoring or counselling role. These are, in particular, the thesis tutors and the quality correspondents.
