Students: European students Grant-awarding organization: European Commission Study areas: all Level: all Grant duration: 3-12 months Eligibility: - You are a student and enrolled in a formal programme of study at higher education level leading to a degree or a diploma (including doctoral level) in one of the participating countries.
- You are a citizen of one the participating countries (or are recognised as having an official status of refugee or stateless person or permanent resident).
- You have successfully completed at least the first year of your university studies.
Grant amount: it is variable but the amount should cover the supplementary costs due to your stay abroad (€ 140 per month on average in 2006). Students: trainees in a European company Grant-awarding organization: European Community (international) Study areas: all Level: from first degree course Grant duration: from 3 to 12 months Eligibility: any public, semi-public or private organisation can apply for Leonardo funding - individuals do not apply directly. All applications must be supported by a partnership of European organisations. Grant amount: the Leonardo contribution will generally not exceed 75% of the total project cost; up to € 5,000. It is also open to students from countries applying for membership of the European Union.

- Be between 18 and 30 (in the year), that is, been born between January 1st, 1976 and December 31st, 1988
- Have a vocation (of professional and individual development, with the aim of what will be your future profession) of which you gave evidence by beginning of realization and having important difficulties to continue their vocation
