  Main research interest has involved evaluating the SEPTIMUS and DEEP projects which have established and developed an eLearning Psychotherapy training course currently running in 8 countries across Europe
  

  Activities and Distinctions:

  - I hold a Diploma in Counselling for Healthcare Practitioners at Sheffield University. My placement was in a counselling service for adults with Asperger's Syndrome. I currently practice as a counsellor in Primary Care and am particularly interested in the use of creative writing in therapeutic settings
  - I have longstanding experience and interest in working with people with Learning Difficulties
  - I was awarded a place on the World University Network's Global Exchange Programme, and spent January and February 2006 conducting research in online argumentation at the University of Washington, Seattle
