The aim of this pre-requisite module which will be taken on a Distance learning basis, is to twofold:

1) make sure students know the basic concepts and approaches in the key environmental and occupational sciences (environmental chemistry, toxicology, microbiology and risk assessment) and
2) can analyze and understand the interdisciplinary context of public health crises or concerns of environmental or occupational origin.
