The Europubhealth+ programme is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree that has been recognized as a Master of excellence by the European Commission since 2006. In 2016, the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EACEA) has renewed its financial support to  the programme for five more years.

ERASMUS+: Erasmus Mundus excellence scholarships

The Europubhealth+ consortium awards Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus scholarships to the best candidates who apply before the indicated deadline each year.

When creating an online profile, applicants must choose the relevant category based on the following rules:

  • Programme Countries are the 28 EU member states, Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Turkey. A Partner Country is any other country of the world that is not a Programme Country as mentioned above.
  • Students are considered as Partner Countries students when:
    • They are citizens of a Partner Country.
    • They are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any Programme Country (This five-year reference period is calculated backwards as from January 2017. The 12-months residency rule should not apply to the candidates who for various reasons and under various circumstances have sought refuge and received a refugee status in a Programme Country).
    • Students with a Partner Country citizenship who do not fulfil the Partner Country criteria defined above (12-months rule) count as Programme Country students.
  • Students whose citizenship is one of the Programme Countries count as Programme Country students.
  • Students with a double nationality (of a Partner and of a Programme Country) must specify the nationality under which they submit their application.

ERASMUS+ mobility grant for Year 2

Europubhealth+ self-funded students who do not already benefit from an Erasmus Mundus excellence scholarship are entitled to receive an Erasmus+ mobility grant during their second year specialisation in the programme. The Erasmus+ grant is not means tested and is available to students of all nationalities. The Erasmus+ grant (around 200-300€ per month depending on the destination country) is only intended to assist students with additional costs incurred during the second year of study. It is not enough to cover all expenses and should not be relied on for essential living costs such as food and rent.

ERASMUS+ Master degree loans

Erasmus+ Master degree loans are available through Spanish and French partner banks. More countries should follow soon.

Erasmus+ Master Loans allow students to apply for financial support for their Master's studies abroad. Loans will be offered by participating banks and student loan agencies on favorable conditions to mobile students, including better than market interest rates and up to two years to allow graduates to get into a job before beginning repayment.
